It was a ceramic coffee cup. It arrived as described. However, it was surrounded by bubble wrap and then sent in a bubble wrap envelope. I felt lucky it wasn't chipped or broken. Maybe it's just me, but I think all glassware/ceramic ware should be bubble wrapped and shipped in a box. In the vendor's defense, this seems to be a problem more often than not on items I am shipped from Amazon. The beauty there is I just drop off the items that have suffered during shipment at Whole Foods.
I was amazed at the time and care that went into making sure this glass arrived safely. Really went the extra mile. Perfect!
