Vintage Champion-DeArment No. 17 combination crate and nail clinching tool made in Meadville, Pennsylvania, USA. One-piece forged steel construction with integral handle between both working ends. One end features an approximately 1½ inch wide chisel/axe-style cutting blade with opposing hammer face. The opposite end includes a larger hammer face with a smaller opposing striking surface. Designed for crate opening, nail driving, and nail clinching in warehouse and packing applications. Clearly marked “Champion-DeArment” and “No. 17.” See photos for full details and measurements. Condition Used vintage condition with surface rust, oxidation, and wear from age and use. Cutting edge shows wear but no cracks observed. Hammer faces show typical striking marks. Structurally solid. Seller combined shipping on this and another order. I made an offer on a bundle and my offer was accepted. Great value on two pieces for restoration. I'm sure they're described accurately and packing will be adequate.
