  1. SELLER'S RESPONSE TO MY QUESTION WAS INCORRECT. This part charges an iPhone, but it does not work as a music interface as advertised. You CANNOT play music on the phone through the Mercedes-Benz Music Interface using this cable. That being said, you can charge the phone using this cable and play music via the vehicle's Bluetooth connectivity and thereby control music on the phone with the Audio functions of the vehicle's COMMAND system.
