This is a Medium size Tin Nicho / Retablo incorporating both hand painting and printed images of Frida Kahlo wearing a traditional Lace Headdress. The inside also has Silk Flowers, Lace & Gold Glitter. This lovely piece was all handmade by a talented artist named Gustavo from Mexico City.... The glass door opens, so if you want to personalized this piece and add something special, you can... It measures 10 3/4 inches tall by 6 inches wide and 1 1/4 of an inch deep. This is a contemporary example of a long tradition of tin retablos made in Mexico. There is a loop for hanging on the back.
