Description
These are two adorably kitschy gnomes molded from pecan shell resin and hand painted, stamped, and signed by Tom Clark. All of his gnomes have been retired since 2011 and are quite collectible. Each gnome has a real coin attached somewhere in the mold. Each gnome has its own story right down to its zodiac sign and the coin adds to their stories, but unfortunately I don’t have the cards that told the stories. They are named as well. The one on the log is Eenie, with the name and Tom’s signature inscribed next to the coin. The one on the bench is O’Neal, with name and date on his pocket that the coin is in. This one also has the number 1019 under his foot and the year ‘94 with Tom’s inscribed signature on his hat, as well as Tom’s full penned signature. These little garden gnomes don’t actually do well outside in the garden and are best displayed indoors so as to keep the paint intact. They both show very minor wear and age. No chips or cracks.
