>Offered here is an old and original 1953 MILWAUKEE BRAVES baseball pennant !! Please see all four photos, as they are an important part of my description. This full-sized vintage baseball pennant measures approximately 28 1/2" x 11 1/2", and features soft red felt, a white felt strip along the left edge and silk-screened white and yellow lettering and graphics. Though undated, I believe the pennant is from the early 1950's and possibly 1953-specific as the pennant features a rare "Milwaukee" version of the "Warrior Brave" . The Boston Braves morphed into the Milwaukee Braves in 1953, with their games played in Milwaukee County Stadium (Milwaukee, Wisconsin). This time period was also the dawning of the Hank Aaron era as well. <> Condition: this vintage baseball pennant was once lovingly displayed on a child's bedroom wall, as it shows three tack holes in the usual locations along with the tack imprints still visible (tip; white felt strip area). The pennant's tip is all there, albeit a bit frayed. The silk-screened lettering and graphics are in outstanding shape! As you can see, the pennant still has great visual appeal as well!
