This “Buy it Now” offering is for an original vintage 1976 Montreal Alouettes Canadian Football League pocket schedule. The Alouettes finished the season 7-8-1 for third place in the CFL’s Eastern Conference and were eliminated in the Division Semi-final playoff. Montreal was coached by future Football Hall of Fame coach Marv Levy . After five years with the Alouettes, Levy went on to 17 years as an NFL coach for the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo where he led the Bills to four straight AFC Championships. He would later be named to both the Canadian Football Hall of Fame and the Pro Football Hall of Fame (NFL). Alouettes quarterback Sonny Wade passed for 2,504 yards and 17 touchdowns. His top two targets were future Canadian Football Hall of Famers, tight end Peter Dalla Riva who grabbed 56 passes for 763 yards and 10 touchdowns; and 1972 Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Rodgers who had 45 receptions, 749 yards and six touchdowns. Running back Andy Hopkins carried the ball for a team-best 1,075 yards. Offensive guard Dave Braggins and offensive tackle Dan Yochum were named to the CFL All Star team; as were defensive end Junior Ah You and defensive back Dickie Harris .
