This “Buy it Now” offering is for an original vintage 1975 Montreal Alouettes Canadian Football League pocket schedule. The Alouettes finished the season 9-7 for second in the CFL’s Eastern Conference, then advanced in the playoffs to the Grey Cup championship where they lost to Edmonton 9-8 in a game played with a temperature of -15 Celsius and a 25-kilometer per hour wind. Montreal was coached by future Football Hall of Fame coach Marv Levy . After five years with the Alouettes, Levy went on to 17 years as an NFL coach for the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo where he led the Bills to four straight AFC Championships. He would later be named to both the Canadian Football Hall of Fame and the Pro Football Hall of Fame (NFL). Alouettes quarterback Jimmy Jones threw for 1,865 yards for the season. His targets were three future Canadian Football Hall of Fame receivers including 1972 Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Rodgers who had 40 receptions, 849 yards and eight touchdowns; tight end Peter Dalla Riva who made 56 receptions for 743 yards and seven touchdowns; and Larry Smith who had 52 receptions for 560 yards and five touchdowns. Three members of the Alouettes offensive line were named to the CFL All Star team including guard Dave Braggins , center Wayne Conrad and future Canadian Football Hall of Fame tackle Dan Yochum . Two members of Montreal’s defense were named to the All CFL All Star team including future Canadian Football Hall of Fame defensive tackle Glen Weir and linebacker Mike Widger. The defense also featured future Canadian Football Hall of Famers: Junior Ah You, Gene Gaines and Dickie Harris . .
