This “Buy it Now” offering is for an original vintage 1974 Ottawa Rough Riders Canadian Football League pocket schedule. The Rough Riders finished second in the CFL’s Eastern Conference and advanced in the semi-final playoff game before losing the Eastern Conference final to Montreal. Wide receiver Rhome Nixon led the team in receiving with 54 receptions for 950 yard to earn a spot on the CFL All Star team. Defensive back Al Marcelin led the team with eight interceptions and was one of four defensive players for the Rough Riders to be named to the 1974 All Star team including Canadian Football Hall of Fame linebacker Jerry Campbell , defensive end Wayne Smith and defensive back Dick Adams . This was the final season in the Canadian Football Hall of Fame career of tackle and kicker Moe “The Toe” Racine who spent 16 seasons with Ottawa. His number 62 jersey was retired by the team. Future Canadian Football Hall of Fame quarterback Jerry Keeling passed for 1,831 yards. He played only one more game as a Rough Rider in 1975, wrapping up the final year of his career as the starting quarterback for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
