This “Buy it Now” offering is for an original vintage 1974 Saskatchewan Roughriders Canadian Football League pocket schedule. The team finished the season with a record of 9-7 for second in the CFL’s Western Conference. They advanced in the semi-final playoff game, but were eliminated in the Western Conference final. Saskatchewan featured future Canadian Football Hall of Fame quarterback Ron Lancaster who passed for 2,873 yards. He would become the franchise's all-time leader in passing yards, attempts, completions, touchdowns, and interceptions in his 16 years with the Roughriders. Future Canadian Football Hall of Fame running back George Reed led the league in rushing in 1974 with 1,447 yards to earn a spot on the CFL All Star team. At the time, he was the CFL’s leading all-time rusher and still holds the CFL record for rushing touchdowns at 134. Defensive end George Wells and defensive back Lorne Richardson were named to the 1974 CFL All Star team. Future Canadian Football Hall of Fame offensive tackle Clyde Brock was in his 11th season with Saskatchewan and would retire at the end of the next season.
